Broadview Lofts

Built in 1914 as the United Drug Company warehouse (later Rexall), this 7-storey Riverside landmark housed a ground-floor soda fountain from 1920 to 1943. Converted in 2006 by Sorbara Group into 154 units, it finished second in the Pug Awards for best residential building in 2008. The original cage elevators and rooftop water tower were preserved. Units run from 550 to 1,750 sq ft — the two-storey penthouse suites with 21-ft ceilings and private rooftop terraces are among the largest in the east end.
