The former Hamilton Carhartt Co. factory — manufacturer of overalls, workwear, and gloves, once claiming to be the World's Largest Overall Manufacturer. Built in the early 1900s and operated until 1974, the building sat largely vacant before its conversion in 1999 into just 11 live/work hard lofts. Original wood beams and posts, exposed brick, cement floors, 12-ft ceilings, and sliding garage doors throughout. Units range from 1,300 to 1,550 sq ft — large by any Toronto standard. Some units have private rooftop decks. Zoned live/work with TTC at both the front and rear of the building. One of the most boutique hard loft buildings in the city.
